This policy applies to paid Bannervanta purchases and supplements our Billing Policy and Terms. It does not eliminate any refund, cancellation or remedy that applicable law requires.
No guaranteed clicks or results
Bannervanta provides exchange advertising and the specific credits or membership benefits described at checkout. We do not guarantee any number of clicks, visitors, unique people, sales, leads, conversions, revenue, search ranking or return on investment. Availability and delivery depend on eligible inventory, participating websites, settings, approval, format, adult permissions, browser blocking and other operating conditions. A view or click is not a promise of a customer or verified human visitor.
No discretionary refunds after any paid traffic delivery
Once any traffic has been delivered under a paid purchase, that purchase is not eligible for a discretionary refund, regardless of the type or amount of traffic delivered. One delivered impression, qualified view or tracked click attributable to that purchase is sufficient. A lack of clicks, low volume, poor conversions or dissatisfaction with results does not make a delivered purchase refundable.
Delivery must be supported by platform records and attributable to the paid purchase. Unrelated traffic, promotional traffic delivered before purchase, mere payment activation, an unsuccessful request, and a preview that does not serve the paid campaign are not evidence of delivery under that purchase. Known invalid or fabricated events are not a basis for refusing a lawful remedy.
“Impression” means the advertisement was served/rendered as recorded by the platform; a qualified view satisfies the platform's view criteria; a tracked click is a recorded selection of the served advertisement. These are distinct metrics. Delivery of any one of these under the purchase triggers the discretionary no-refund rule; we need not establish a minimum click count or a sale.
Requests before delivery
If no paid traffic or other purchased benefit has been delivered, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] promptly with the order reference and reason. We will review the payment, activation and delivery records. Before-delivery requests are reviewed individually and do not establish an automatic money-back guarantee. If the advertised service cannot be supplied, any remedy required by law remains available.
For packages purchasing access, slots or other benefits rather than traffic alone, use of those delivered benefits may also make the purchase nonrefundable as disclosed before checkout, even if no banner click occurs. Free, promotional, earned and referral credits have no cash refund value. Cancellation of future renewals is separate from refunding an existing charge.
Exceptions and errors
The no-refund rule does not override mandatory consumer protections, an applicable statutory withdrawal right, remedies for misrepresentation or failure to supply the contracted service, unauthorized charges, or correction of duplicate/incorrect billing. We do not presume consent to waive a withdrawal right simply because traffic began; any waiver required by law must be obtained in the required manner.
If a charge is disputed, we may provide truthful payment and attributable delivery records. You retain rights available through your payment provider and applicable law. A refusal of a discretionary refund does not establish that every legal claim or payment-provider dispute is invalid.
Processing
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method, subject to provider processing. We will explain the approved amount and any lawful deduction. Provider processing times vary; this policy does not promise a fixed completion date. Send questions to sales-at-bannervanta-dot-app.
Attributing traffic to a paid purchase
If your account contains purchased, earned and promotional credits together, the operator must use sufficiently reliable records to identify delivery under the order whose refund is being reviewed. Traffic delivered only under an unrelated order or free allocation cannot be relabeled as paid delivery merely to reject a request. Where records are unclear, we will investigate rather than assume a purchase was fulfilled.
A paid membership may purchase access or specific features rather than a stated quantity of traffic. Its checkout terms must identify those benefits and the relevant refund conditions. Activating a membership is not automatically evidence that a traffic-only order delivered an impression. This distinction prevents confusion between a charge for package access and a charge for advertising delivery.
What does not create a discretionary refund right
After attributable paid delivery, changing your mind, changing your site, removing your banner, receiving fewer clicks than hoped, having no sales, leaving restrictive targeting enabled, or deciding another advertising method works better does not create a discretionary refund entitlement. Your business results depend on factors outside BannerVanta's control, including the offer, landing page, audience and receiving inventory.
A browser's ad blocker may prevent requests or hide advertisements. A paused or rejected banner may not be eligible to serve. These conditions do not establish that an already delivered purchase should be refunded. They also do not allow us to claim undelivered traffic was delivered. Mandatory remedies and any expressly promised service commitment still apply.
How a request is reviewed
Identify the order, purchase date and affected service. Explain whether the complaint concerns no delivery, incorrect billing, unauthorized payment, an alleged service defect or disappointing results. Provide relevant records without exposing passwords or full payment credentials. We may ask for clarification and compare the order against delivery, benefit-use and payment records.
We will communicate the decision and the general basis where practicable. A goodwill exception, if offered, does not amend every purchase or create a continuing guarantee. Refund approval may require removal of the corresponding unused credits or benefits to prevent both a refund and continued use of the refunded service. Any adjustment must be limited to the affected purchase and lawful obligations.
